Tullie House commissioned us to create an installation as part of their ‘Origins’ Prehistory exhibit. We created an immersive audio experience which transports the visitor into various ages of prehistory by using soundscapes.

The feeling of being, for example, in a forest, by a fire whilst someone is flint knapping. The sound of a river as people fish. Capturing the sounds of bears, wolves, deer; wildlife indigenous to the ancient Cumbrian landscape.

We then created an accompanying illustration which works as a visual timeline for the visitor to use when identifying sounds in the piece.
